We believe in using responsibly-grown and harvested ingredients. Our products will never contain antibiotics, hormones, or nonorganic pesticides.
ORGANIC -
We purchase ingredients from nearby Virginia farms and suppliers whenever possible, keeping your hard-earned money here in the community.
LOCAL -
We compost all food waste. Deliveries are made in reusable glassware, with recycle aluminum foil and untreated paper instructions.
SUSTAINABLE -
At Making It Real, we have a passion for good, real food harvested and produced locally in our own community. We have a passion for reconnecting with our health, and the nutrition we put in our bodies, and for reconnecting with our families around the dinner table at the end of the day.
We provide premade, oven-ready meals using organic and local ingredients. So you can focus on getting you and your loved ones in the same place to share something delicious.
Place your order each week, choose your pickup time and location, and we’ll take care of the rest.
We also provide resources to local farms and producers for distribution, community engagement, and more.
